I must have gone to the wrong law school because I don't remember any law librarians like that at the law library.

By Blogger TigerHawk, at Thu Oct 06, 08:50:00 PM:

I do.

I've worked with a few librarians like that....

I think she's researching the penal code.

I wonder under what part of the Dewey decimal system the Kama Sutra would be filed under.

The librarian we had was nicknamed "The Troll." The good looking girls in the library were undergraduates working on their MRS.

Makes ya wanna lay down the law (librarian)...

looking at all the other photographs in the competition has cooled me down quite a bit, though...

I can't tell if she's wearing glasses though. That would be the ultimate.

Judging by the comments, you silly boys aren't old enough to be online by yourselves, no less graduates of law schools.

By Blogger TigerHawk, at Fri Oct 07, 09:54:00 AM:

I, for one, can state categorically that my sense of humor has not matured even slightly since the 9th grade. Which was approximately 30 years ago.

I second that emotion, hawk. But it's more than that. The problem with us lawyers is that most of us were bookish nerds in junior high. Hit by testosterone rush, we were inept at managing it. As anonymous notes, the results are kind of sad... but hey, so what?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Fri Oct 07, 12:29:00 PM:

As a law librarian, who looks much like the picture...Heck yeah! It's not just buns and glasses anymore;)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Fri Oct 07, 12:39:00 PM:

Cakreiz, speak for yourself when you say "us lawyers." Note that for whatever reasons, females of the profession (inluding myself and my girlfriends) do not seem to congregate in little groups online to oogle a jpg of a hot young male librarian. (And don't say there is no such thing -- I can tell you the boys in the stacks at my fine law school were not "trolls," they were darn stacked themselves ;-)

Hmm. Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe if you post a studmuffin showing off his buff torso as he stretches his strong chisled arm to the top shelf to pull down some heavy textbooks . . . me & my women friends might get back in touch our their giggling 9th grade selves, too ;).

Hey Hawk -- what do YOU look like?

By Blogger TigerHawk, at Fri Oct 07, 01:08:00 PM:

I'm not much of a studdmuffin, I'm afraid.

To Cicero ( at 11:35 PM):

At this public library, we shelve the Kama Sutra at 294.5664 (in the religion section).

(Never pose an idle question when a reference librarian's around - s/he's bound to look it up)

"to congregate in little groups online to oogle a jpg of a hot young male librarian."

...oh please anonymous laywer girl...you deny the way we males are wired...good luck with that!! ;-) Perhaps you should have made a friend and taken advantage of the offices around the law library for a little hokey-pokey...

I know it worked for me.

;D

She's got that classy thing going on. I think that's why people are excited about the pic. That and you have discovered the primal and most basic reason the Internet is what it is. Spreading around pics of attractive females.

Do law librarians really wear 4" stiletto heels? Dammit, I knew I shoulda gone to law school.
