Red Cross Denied Access to Superdome by State Agency

Further to my post heaping derision upon state and local officials, please read this from RadioBlogger. It is the transcript of Hugh Hewitt's interview of Major Garrett, who in turn had interviewed senior Red Cross personnel. The punch line? The Red Cross had prepositioned supplies like food and water ready to go to the Superdome and the state denied them access.

Now that is cruel incompetence. Apparently, the state had also conducted studies and was fully knowledgeable that many locals lacked transportation out of the region and therefore could not evacuate without assistance from state and local officials -- this will be the famed story of the flooded, empty buses. I guess if you couple that with the fact that Blanco acknowledged that Bush leaned on her to do announce a mandatory evacuation, and Mayor Nagin pointed the finger at her for taking 24 hours to decide what to do...well you get the picture. She's a MORON. And when this many lives are at stake, MORONS will get you killed.

Can she be impeached? Indicted? Something? Please?

Why would these officials, the governor and the major
put their own voters at risk?
It is so SIMPLE, too CYNICAL for we
Greys to immediately consider. We are
not into that "cut off our noses to
spite our faces" mentality.

Bush made a lot of political hay in
Florida during the relief efforts
after each of the four hurricanes
that struck this important state in
2004.

Kerry lost Fla, Praise God! Bush won
Louisiana and Dems are worried about
holding Governorship in future. They
could not allow Bush/Republicans to
be heros. FEMA did great in Fla because Jeb had all local and state
first responders organized.

THEY HAD TO KEEP THEM ALL OUT.
Had the levees not breached, the
Governor could have been made a star
by the LSM. THEY HAD TO KEEP BUSH
OUT!

The Dems had to keep him out. And now
I will go one step further - perhaps
too far - but wonder what would be revealed if we had the phone records
of James Lee Witt, Blanco, Landrieu
brother and sister,Clintons (or close
minion) from August 23rd thru today.

And speaking of Mr. Witt, who was all
over the news nets and was given extra long segments with softball and leading questions to guarantee he
expressed all his concern and how he and Bill would have done it all so much better.

I have not seen him for past two days.
You see, I am disabled and have the time to make my remote circuit of CNN FNC CNBC MSNBE CSPAN CSPAN2 CNN HL
often enough that I only hear commercials when I am reading or
responding to Blogs.

The Louisiana FEMA director is AWOL,
Blanco is now dead meat.

Nagin has ratted Blanco out, do you think she'll try to finger her
"advisers"? Her appointed LA FEMA
DIRECTOR?

Machiavelli is smiling.

The Left Stream Media and the Dems acted exactly as they have for the past 5 years. So they needed no bait. They set their own traps.

And there I was absolutely frustrated that the no one was coming out strong with the facts of the failures of Nagin and Blanco.

And then on the 6th I realized it was another Rovian trap. (Machiavelli
smiled)

Today, Pelosi and Reid said they would not participate in Joint Congressional Hearing to investigate Fed
response to Katrina.

James Lee Witt AWOL since
9/5/05 Blanco's Louisiana
FEMA director suddenly not
all over cable news.

Tonight AARON BROWN/CNN presented a report on the response by the local governments. They reported the Red Cross story (could not avoid) and showed a new
video of the innundated school buses - 5 days late.

Think of the Pelosi/Reid argument. A congressional committee cannot come to a
legitimate conclusion unless
the voters have sent an equal number of each party to the House and the Senate.
(Machiavelli chuckles)

Does that mean that we must now review the makeup of all
congresses and throw out all
legislation not enacted by
a congress equal in party
representation.

No wonder so many Americans
get migraines.

I think the information i have read here has been really useful, as i know a few friends who sufferbipolar epilepsy migraineand one thing that has helped a couple of them is a Bioflow. They purchased them at bipolar epilepsy migraine. It hasn't worked for all of them, but has completely eradicated the problem for one of them, and made the bipolar epilepsy migraine much more bearable for the other. It might be worth a look
