War notes

We caught another important dirtbag:
American forces have captured a key operative in the organization of Iraq's al Qaeda leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the top U.S. general said on Tuesday.

Air Force Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the PBS program "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" that Monday's capture of Abu Abd Al-Aziz, whom he called Zarqawi's "main leader in Baghdad," was "going to hurt that operation of Zarqawi's pretty significantly."

I regret, though, that we caught him on Monday and told the world on Tuesday. I much prefer to read about these victories weeks or months after the fact.

Also, here is a fairly alarmist report of Islamist infestations in India:
India is infested with Islamic militants from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Middle East. The sleeping cells are in thousands all over India. They are slowly targeting to take infrastructure of Indian defense out piece by piece.
