Correction of the week

Spotted in the February 7, 2005 issue of The New Yorker:
From the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Journal.

Because of a transcription error, a Nov. 28 letter to the editor from Joseph Cutri said that Jesus was an Orthodox Jew. It should have said that Jesus was an unorthodox Jew.

I don't care who you are, that's funny.

Heh. When you stop and think about it, Jesus could be seen either as a "true" Orthodox Jew, or as the founder of Reform Judaism. Ironic when you stop and think about it. Mostly depends on persepective.
