Rather report coming?
The long-awaited report of the internal CBS News investigation into Dan Rather's false memo scandal may come out today, in which case I have a prediction and a reminder.
The prediction is that the right side of the blogosphere will explode with fisking posts, the heaping of scorn, and "Bwahahaha!"'s. Who says I don't step to the plate?
The reminder is that we reported almost six weeks ago our own rumor, which is that the investigation uncovered smoking-gun emails that reveal a clear intention on the part of Rather to nail the President. A premeditated blinking of the camera, so to speak. We shall see how connected my source is.
