Tonight, 7 p.m. EST, ESPN. Be there. SportsProf has the complete prognostication.

UPDATE: Duke wins, 59-46. Sad, but not surprising.

Ugh! Double Ugh! Coach K put it succinctly in the post-game press conference, when he said that Princeton gets 60% of its points from threes, so they denied the three. And did they, as the Tigers shot only 1-17 from behind the arc. In adopting that defensive strategy, Duke left itself a little more exposed to the back door play, but Princeton didn't have enough athleticism (other than Will Venable's) to exploit the overplaying man-to-man coverage. The game wasn't even as close as the score, as the Tigers are still too slow coming out of the starting gate. They need to start their games better.

1-17 from beyond the arc was awful, but it's not like the shots weren't there, or were particularly well-contested. Maybe the shooters were winded from having to work hard to break free for the open look, but mostly, they just missed open threes.

But thank God they got one so that the streak is still alive.
