Bush unscripted
I almost never get to see television, which may explain why I still like George Bush, which fact baffles most of my friends and even parts of my family. I did, however, read the transcript of Bush's press conference yesterday, and it struck me as quite articulate, at least by the standards of any Bush presidency (admittedly, a "best hockey player in Ecquador" situation, but still reassuring). Sure, he was clumsy compared to any Democratic President or nominee of the last thirty years, but articulation isn't everything.
