Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has offered to "observe" American elections next year, apparently "prompted by a belief that Americans would vote against the current administration in a truly free poll." No doubt he is correct, but through the nefarious tyranny of the United States Constitution Americans will be denied the opportunity to vote against George W. Bush a third time.
it's not an ammendmant that forbids him from running for a third term. it is a mere confressional law. i'm waiting for the day when the executive challenges the encroachment of the legislative on the constitution. W should run for a third time. he is eligible under the constitution.
Either your copy of the Constitution was missing the Twenty-Second Amendment, or you burned out just before you got to the end. Your wait will be a long one.
