Is Joe Wilson a tool of French intelligence?

It isn't the most whacked theory I've ever read. And if you dislike the government of Chirac and Villepin, it's the must-read post of the day.

C'est magnifique, cherie!

Only with one thing in your post am I quibbling, mon petit lapin. Means this that I no longer, your 'most whacked theory' appellation deserve??? Quelle dommage!

Live with this shame I cannot - must I return from my exile, only to give the eyepokings once again to that brutish cowboy President of yours?

Seriously, as I've so often commented, L'Affaire Plame has been rife with unintentional ironies since the beginning - a witchhunt instigated by the press, who invoked a law they bitterly complained about when it passed because they said it was very likely unconstitutional (an opinion shared by many law professors) and would crush free speech? Wouldn't it be amusing if the final act of this idiotic farce was the uncovering of a plot, not to discredit Wilson, but to discredit Bush?

Personally that's what I've always thought, but you know I'm just a moonbat. There are just too many unanswered questions here, and too many officials uninterested in asking them.

All these official investigations (SSCI, Butler, Robb-Silverman) into whether the intel was 'manipulated' conclude "No", and who does the press continue to quote day in and day out?

Wilson: a discredited and proven liar. I'd say the man deserves a medal. But not from anyone on our side.
