Rhetorical question

The answer to this presumably rhetorical question is "yes."

not just yes, but "hell yes"

The answer depends upon your understanding of what the word "is" means.

An AA friend, discussing the deterioration of someone we know, reminded me today: "You tell yourself you'll never drive drunk. Then you tell yourself you'll never drive drunk with your kids in the car. Then that you'll never pull your kids out of bed to put them in the car to go buy booze at 11pm..."

We learn to believe stupid things slowly. But it can be done.
