Happy Thanksgiving!
Greetings out there in TigerHawk Land. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving in keeping with your tradition, or at least the Pilgrim tradition.
We have a lot to be thankful for in our family, not the least of which is that fate deposited us here in the United States. We try to remember that a lot more often than annually, but especially today.
Take care, and try not to drink too many of those awesome bourbon and ciders.

I am grateful for five sons - two domestic, two imported (Romania), one borrowed (a nephew). All employed, except the one in HS. Three of the four fully responsible adults, one stumbling in that direction at 24. Job for me, job for wife. Two granddaughters. Affection all 'round. A roof and walls. Food to eat. Warmth. Books. Excellent friends, a (fairly) good church community.
Unbelievable wealth, really. Without knowing my income, appearance, or health, 99% of all the people who ever lived would trade places.
I am the real 1%.
AVI wrote, "99% of all the people who ever lived would trade places".
To which I will add, "So true"
We are all the 1%.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
Bourbon and cider? Instant party!

Happy Thanksgiving to you Tigerhawk, Aegon and your families and to all the Tigerhawk commentators.
Eat much, Pray hard. Thanks be to God for all.

A wonderful holiday-- we are lucky to be Americans, to have the plenty God gave us and to have our families who love us (despite our tendency to eat too much turkey). God bless all.
