A reason to go to Vietnam
A friend of mine said the other day that she wanted to visit Vietnam. While I would also be interested in going there some day, there are many other places I would see first. But that was before I saw these spectacular pictures.

, atSon and daughter in law honeymooned there last year! In addition to the vistas and people, the most surprising thing--indeed shocking--according to my son, was that in Hanoi there remains a French cuisine influence. After the better part of a century of revolution, war and evolution, that is an amazing cultural stamp.

, atMy neighbors have traveled there twice on family biking trips, returning each time loving the country and people. You and your children might also like that sort of trip.
