Wiki biography of the day: Jim Downey
In what can only be described as a delightful brush with greatness, I broke bread last night with Jim Downey, the long time SNL writer who invented the word "strategery" -- a staple in my lexicon, to be sure -- and probably flipped the 2000 presidential election with the single word "lockbox." Heard a lot of great stories. Sorry to say, if I told you I would have to kill you.
