The tide is turning. The question is, when will the Democrats in Congress get scared enough to shut down the craziness so we can all get back to, well, work?
Rising employment is the natural condition of a growing economy, and our economy has started to grow again on the back of aggregate demand generated by fiscal and monetary stimulus. All well and good. There is only one more ingredient necessary: the people who actually decide to hire have to have confidence that the conditions of their business will not suddenly change again. Their confidence, the confidence of the executives and owners who hire people in the private sector, will not improve until we reduce, by a lot, the new and troubling regulatory risk reinforced with every press release of every federal agency in the age of Obama.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean I'm wrong.
I read MSM the way Russians used to have read Pravda. One trick is to connect the dots between separate items.
The UN Secretary-General said yesterday that the human role in climate change is without doubt: "climate change is happening much, much faster than we realized and we human beings are the primary cause."

EPA head Lisa Jackson said today that the timing of the EPA's announcing on Monday that CO2 is a pollutant had nothing to do with the opening of Copenhagen that same day. This wasn't just an untruth on her part, it was a gratuitous untruth.

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Gibbs dismissed the lone question on Climategate from the nerd non-MSM reporter as "silly."

So the Administration is really sticking it to the press. I suspect this is deliberate. It'll be harder still for anyone in MSM to later turn on AGW, because of it. They have no balls, and now they know it. This is a classic schoolyard bully intimidation technique. Axelrod will soon be shaking them down for their milk money. Axelrod used similar techniques during the campaign, but not as blatantly.
Meanwhile, with Climategate safely dead and buried, Al Gore came out of hiding to throw a few shovelfuls of dirt on its grave: "the e-mails have been taken wildly out of context." Brian would be proud of the way the Q&A ducks and weaves. http://www.slate.com/id/2237789 This means we'll see more of Prince Al during the Copenhagen proceedings.
Meanwhile Obama says he's concerned with our high unemployment. There's a real disconnect between MSM coverage and Obama's slipping popularity. Sarah Palin's working this hard right now. I can't wait to see where we are when Obama comes back from Copenhagen -- with a Nobel in one hand, and a job killing CO2 treaty in the other.
Virginia Democrat Senator Webb has already broken ranks with Obama on jobs and CO2. Developing .....
The Truth is out There. Cue X-Files

It's fun to watch these guys twist in the wind regarding CO2 "emissions" (otherwise known as EXHALING).
Thye KNOW that the public thinks they are crooks, but they HAVE to get this legislation passed NOW.
Otherwise, over the next few years when NOTHING happens to global weather...or it gets cooler...they will not be able to take credit for it and continue the wealth redistribution...they will simply look even MORE like fools than they do now.
