Rule 4
This is an excellent example of Rule 4.
Just sayin'. I've not gone in for Rule 4 in years, not since my "Carnival of the Commies" series long ago, but there's no argument that it works.

My own rule 4 is pass the trash.

Well, no one's going to consult me about traffic with my 60 separate visitors a day. But I'm not sure that increasing that 10x or 100x in that manner would suit me. I hope it's not just sour grapes on my part, but I tend to think many of those tactics artificially inflate one's sense of influence. I could increase my outrageousness or make my criticisms more cutting, but what would be gained?
