Early warning system

With all this talk of "smart grids" and the like, I can't help thinking that this kind of early warning system might be another productive use for stimulus funds.

That happened here in Austin. They apparently hacked into the built-in computer on 2 signs, one the "zombies ahead" and the other said "run for your lives"... Also, it is apparently a Class-C misdemeanor here in Texas.
