Caribou Coffee on 17th Street north (?) of the Old Executive Office building in DC.

You were sitting on the Northwest corner of 17th Ave NW and Pennsylvania Ave, NW, in Washington DC. The White House is to the left (or east) of the building you shot. Its former name was the OEOB.
It must be afternoon, given where the sun is.

Look to your right. Is there still a Georg Jenson's there? I bought a crystal vase for our anniversary there in 1972 to 1075 for my wife.
