The young one

I'm sure all the eagle photographs are getting a bit tedious. Tough. My blog.

I snapped this picture this morning while reading Doug Feith's surprisingly good book, War and Decision (click through the ad on the sidebar). Hmmm...

One quick caution on "War and Decision". It is very information-dense and very good, a combination that has earned me two overdue notices from the library. I suspect anyone who wants to make/understand an accurate history of the Bush adminstration will wind up with a well-thumbed copy of their own.

What is the appx. size of this Eagle?

Your blog, indeed. Thanks for the raptor report.

Everyone has a list of things they want to see before they die. One of mine is the sight of a raptor diving for the kill. With Orange County, Ca quickly becoming an urban enter, I will never have a chance to see one of those beautiful birds in action. I can dream though, and eagle dreams are always cool.
