News you can use
There is a time in every man's life when it would be useful to know the country in the world with the most promiscuous women (as measured by the average number of admitted sexual partners).
Suffice it to say that this news should boost the appeal of New Zealand as a venue for spring break.

Well, yeah, but I note there are 43.1 million sheep in New Zealand, or 10 sheep for every Kiwi. There are also about 65,000 more men than women New Zealanders, or 96.9 males for every 100 females. Tough odds.

It's not that flash. Most of those sheep are real ugly.

*looks askew*
Are your numbers backwards?
"There is a time in every man's life when it would be useful to know..."
Well, unless you're an American.
Really, though, how many times have you read similar lines:
"Opinions of America have tumbled here - to 29 percent of (fill in nationality) feeling positive about the US in 2004, from 54 percent in 2001."
And...
"The countries share a dominant language and religion, and US pop culture plays well in (fill in nationality)"
They love us and they hate us. Been hearing the same thing for 40 years. (yawn)
For you youngsters out there who think American antipathy is some sort of new phenominon, perhaps brought about by the Bush Administration, allow me to point out the political novel, "The Ugly American", was published in 1958.
There was a time (early 80's?) when anti-American sentiment was running so high in France that travel agencies were disuading people from going to Paris, lest their travelers literally get spit upon.
But they love our pop culture!

Yes, Dawnfire, 65,000 more women than men was what I had intended to convey. The ratio, though, was correct. Cheers, Tim
