The Craig mess: A silver lining

Good point. We finally have agreement from the left that profiling is just good law enforcement.

Am I the only one who is offended by Craig's response "I am not gay"? He isn't in trouble for being gay. It is the whole sex in the bathroom thing that is the problem. Craig may be an enormous hypocrite for his ant-gay positions in the Senate, but being a gay man is not a crime. Headlines that obscure the real charge against him are a sure indicator that many are not ready to accept homosexuals as anything less than criminals.

I don't know ... Craig seems to be digging himself a hole (no pun intended). The rest of the "I'm not gay" sentence is likely something like "just because I troll guys taking dumps in public men's rooms" ...

Apparently they've been after this guy about being gay since the 1960s.

My understanding is that "profiling" based on *behavior* is something the Left doesn't have a problem with.

I don't see your point here at all.

Thanks.
