My whereabouts
I have been running from place to place for roughly the last 24 hours, but have now settled into my room at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where I will be for the next three nights (attending a convention of dentists, if you have to know). This to explain today's light blogging. I have, however, accumulated a large number of small observations which I will unleash in a torrent of insignificant posts between now and tomorrow morning.
But first I have to locate a beer and secure dinner reservations.
