Watch "Mr. Conservative: Goldwater on Goldwater"
Last night I recorded the HBO premiere of the documentary "Mr. Conservative: Goldwater on Goldwater," and I watched it this evening. It is excellent. It is filled with clips from interviews of all sorts of people. Sure, there are some repulsive old liberals -- Helen Thomas, Walter Cronkite, and various others -- but don't miss Sandra Day O'Connor, or George Will, or Robin McNeill, or Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is particularly gracious and genuine in her affection for Goldwater. I don't have the energy for a review, just an endorsement. Watch it. The schedule for future airings is here. Set the TiVo.
