Saddam II

In today's episode, Saddam responded to consistent witness testimony about the atrocities committed (rape, torture, flesh grinding) in 1982 at Dujail by again rebuking the judge and complaining about ill treatment and the injustice of his trial. Another hissy fit.

While the US reporting is ok, I wonder how this is being received in Iraq and on Al Jazeera. And it's just getting started. This trial will be quite a showcase, and it will really put on parade the hideousness of his regime's tyranny and crimes.

I think this should be kept front and center as the MSM, Howard Dean and others cast about trying to characterize Iraq as a "lost war." The tyrant on trial to exhibit his lunacy and remind everybody exactly what we have accomplished is both riveting and a defiant reminder that we won already. And I am waiting for the moment that the MSM tries to portray Saddam as a sympathetic figure against an evil Bush.

Just keep generating results...
