For a second there, I thought they were posthumously awarding Bill Hicks a British passport for some reason...
ReplyDeletePretty ingenious. You cannot blame the lawyers for using every means to get Hicks out of Guantanamo.
ReplyDeleteIt does show that when the Judiciary (US and International) gets involved the concept of preventative detention during war goes out of the window.
I read somewhere that 60% of those released have gone back to Jihad including those released to the UK.
I hope they keep track of him.
