Muzzle nuzzle
The TigerHawk Daughter with the TigerHawk Herd on the afternoon of Thanksgiving Day, somewhere in the vicinity of Warrenton, Virginia.
OK, two horses is only a herd when you have to drive them down I-95 on Getaway Wednesday.
And for those of you who have always wondered what co-blogger Charlottesvillain looks like:
He's the one on the right.

Thank you, Dennis. Very nice of you to say.
Actually, I'm closing in on my second "blogiversary," and have put up more than 2000 posts, virtually of which are drivel, I'm afraid.

Actually, most of the drivel on this site comes from me. But we love the Hawkeyes here nonetheless.

Every so often a phrase, a thought, a memory, or in this case your photos, will suddenly bring out a great longing in me to be in that beautiful state of Virginia again. I've been living in Arizona for the past 10 + years, and while I love it(I'm lucky to be in a city in the southeastern mountains), I do occasionally miss the east coast. Didn't live in Virginia, but visited often. You have one of the best blogs going. I try to visit daily. Thank you.
