Microsoft hits a 12 month high
Microsoft closed over 28 today, setting a 12 month high. What do we make of that? Comments solicited.
People are buying a lot of new PC's and tossing their old ones -- that puts cash in MS's wallet.
Site Meter tells me the vast majority of my visitors are running XP.
I've been finding a lot of perfectly fine Pentium II and AMD K6-2 machines in in the garbage. The machine I'm typing on right now is a Compaq Deskpro PII 350mhz with *512M* ram that came out of a dumpster.
With all the talk of tech being the next popular sector, MSFT shows that value stocks are still in vouge.
