Countdown

To the end of Pinch Sulzberger's reign at the NYT.

Michelle Malkin has been following the graceless, classless, pathetic, and grotesque treatment a NYT reporter has given to the final thoughts of a fallen US marine, who gave his life for our country and for Iraq. Here she follows up on her original story by publishing the defensive missive offered up by the "reporter," if that is what we must call him. It's not enough to take his final words and thoughts out of context to promote a dismal, antiwar vision completely at odds with the hero's sentiments. He then berates a grieving family member for defending the soldier's genuine perspective.

Tigerhawk has previously written about his family member's heroism on 9/11 which the New York Times glibly ignored. The Times, day in and day out, embarrasses itself with its pathetic slide into mediocrity and dishonesty. From Jayson Blair, to the internal civil war over Judith Miller, to its incompetent, biased coverage of the Iraq war, to its poor currency predictions and negative bias on the performance of the US economy, to its woeful stock price performance, it is clear that the NYT is suffering from a crisis of leadership. How long til the BOD reacts?

We can only hope...
