New York Times Currency Desk Closes

I've waited for Tigerhawk to continue his "in your face" reminders about the money losing short dollar position the New York Times Editors put on for a few days now, but the Southern California Tigerhawk Family Vacation has taken him far from the ink of that (now poorer) paper. A few days ago, Floyd Norris waved the white flag, sort of, in this piece.

Of course, he did leave open the possibility that, like a stopped watch, the NYT currency desk will eventually be right. But in the investment business in which I operate, I believe the editors blew up on their short position and just got shut down.
