Amnesty for Bad Guys
Tigerhawk asks a very good question as to whether we should consider letting the Iraqi Sunni insurgents in from the cold. I don't have the answer, but read this piece for one strong vote NO on the matter from Nibras Kazimi in the New York Sun.

Well, we've killed a lot of them already, and we're doing something like amnesty for bedraggled Taliban in Afganistan.
How about amnesty for Iraqi Sunni's who want to "come in from the cold," and the firing squad for Syrians, Saudis, Iranians, Moroccans, Americans, and any other foreign elements suspected to have perpetrated crimes against the Iraqi people. (We could give them a week to get a running start).
