Lone Star blowback
Instapundit rounded up the latest news on indictments in the oil-for-food scandal, which for the first time include an American company. One of Glenn's readers emailed this observation:
The New York Times does not disappoint. Its front page this morning includes this headline: "Texan is indicated in Iraq oil sales by Hussein aides." But wait, that's not all. When you go to the jump page, there's a "profile" story with more: "Low-profile Texas oilman draws spotlight for Iraqi deals." In case you missed that he was from Texas the first time.
You can't say The New York Times isn't predictable.
UPDATE: Great minds think alike, almost simultaneously.
Yesterday morning,
Now that the MSM can write about an TEXAS based OIL company owned by an AMERICAN, it will be saturation bombing time for them. I work for an MSM company, and I can see the froth beginning to churn.
