Worried about the impact of global warming on your investments?

In my experience, most people who worry about global warming a lot probably don't invest, and do not understand why investment is socially desireable. But there are a few people -- TigerHawk among them -- who both worry about global warming and own stock in public companies that might suffer if the globe continues to warm. Fortunately, there is now a web site that purports to allow you to measure that risk, CookingYourNestEgg.org.

Not surprisingly, the site mostly serves as a vehicle to expose companies that allegedly contribute to global warming, which is an entirely different matter. ExxonMobil might contribute to global warming, while Carnival Cruise Lines might suffer from it.

Anyway, Forbes has the scoop, including stocks that (even) the CookingYourNestEgg people consider environmentally friendly. There are some good companies in the list, so have at it.
