VDH: The Podcast
It is Saturday, so that means I listen to podcasts while buying the weekly groceries and libations. Occasionally I hear one that calls for a special TigerHawk recommendation, and so it is with Austin Bay's interview of Victor Davis Hanson. Among other things, VDH talks about the differences between Western civilization and other cultures, and why the former is worth defending. If you are going to burn 30 minutes on piped-in media this weekend -- and you almost certainly will -- start here.

Given the Thermopa-mania going on, perhaps Hansen should give a shout-out to the three hundred gay men with lambda shining on their bronze shields who likely saved the very "Western Civilization" right wing evangelicals claim that godless queers are trying to destroy ;-)
