Civil War maps 

The Library of Congress has digitized a huge collection of battlefield maps from the Civil War. From the search window of the main page of the collection you can find contemporaneous and post hoc maps from most, if not all, significant battles of the war. It is a very cool site. If you like maps.

Good question. Perhaps because it is not sufficiently motivated to make a profit.
