The 40 "most obnoxious" quotations of 2004

Right Wing News expresses its views. For regular readers of righty blogs, it's a trip down memory lane.

Remember this?:
5) "The word 'hero' has been bandied about a lot to refer to anyone killed in Afghanistan or Iraq. But anyone who voluntarily goes to Afghanistan or Iraq [as a soldier] is fighting for an evil cause under an evil commander in chief." -- Ted Rall

Or this?:
2) "Let the people see what war is like. This isn’t an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush’s folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries. They aren’t in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them." -- Markos Moulitsas Zúniga on the four Americans who were murdered by terrorists and then had their corpses desecrated in Fallujah, Iraq

Does anybody know if a lefty blog has posted a counterpart? That would be interesting.

CWCID: Wizbang!

UPDATE: Rooftop Report has responded to the challenge, with a mildly lefty list of 40 "obnoxious" quotations. Remember this?:
9. "You know, I don't know where George Soros gets his money. I don't know where -- if it comes overseas or from drug groups or where it comes from." - Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

Heh.
