I am very busy and fairly tired, and no longer have the time to blog properly. On the small chance that you have not already noticed. That said, I will still pop in reasonably often with small thoughts and news from the front, so check in occasionally. One day, I'll have more time and I will be less tired, and I will return with the force of this blog's glory days, now a couple of years back. Just thought I should write that out loud.
Hope to read something from you soon

ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and your family first. We can manage.
You got them Sarbanes-Oxley blues?
ReplyDeleteYou serve us well and deserve your rest.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Jim
I'll miss this blog, hope things work you so you can get back to it some day.
ReplyDeleteI kinda caught that early on, and moved your link to my B-List blogs. Sorry - if and when things improve, I'll move you back to my A-List.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry. As an Ivy League - and Big Ten law school - graduate myself, I can understand how even those fine credentials only take you so far, after which fatigue quite naturally sets in.
ReplyDeleteDon't ever apologize for blogging frequency. Only paying customers have the right to complain.
ReplyDeleteI still check in, and when there's something, I read it. That's fine with me.
When it doesn't make you money, it gets increasingly more difficult to give the time.
ReplyDeleteBlogger burnout.
I have twice stopped and restarted
ReplyDeleteWhat'ya doin'? Preparing to move your company offshore to escape the foreign portion of the gross receipts tax on your type of business embodied in Obamacare? Instapundit just got back from a diving trip to the Caymans. I hear the weather is good down there right now.

I always enjoy your stuff, Tigerhawk, and will check back in periodically to see what's up. Thanks for all the info you've shared over the years!
ReplyDeleteSorry, TH, but not surprising. Seems as though Twitter has preempted blogging- it's certainly easier to maintain. Regardless, think low maintenance- and be easy on yourself. The passing of the TH glory days is sad- I remember them well. But I suspect it's a sign of the times. Nothing but the best in your every endeavor.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard letting go. You’ll be back. Happy trails.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind comments -- I still love to write, and it would be wrong to say that I have burned out. However, the rest of my life has become busier and more complicated in the last two-three years, and while it is all very rewarding something has gotta give. But I'll write when I have a moment, and I hope people continue to look occasionally.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it. You were on my daily list with Glenn, Ann, Mark Steyn and Volokh. Good Luck, I'll miss you.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and don't forget to keep biking an doing triathlons! Always enjoy your travel pics and perspective on current affairs. You help keep me convinced I am not crazy.. I'll keep checking in... Take Care!
ReplyDeleteHey TigerHawk, thanks for letting us know. We'll be ready for you whenever you decide to resume. Perhaps when the election starts heating up, you might return to us? Thanks again.
